Matthias Mosha - Chief Executive Officer

A results-driven HR professional, Matthias is motivated to perform tasks with excellence and attention to detail. Being both a strategic and conceptual thinker, he is able to use a variety of HR conceptual frameworks to analyse and address challenging HR issues. His leadership as a Chief Executive Officer has and continues to be at the forefront in building the aikan HR brand in the region.

Matthias' early HR career started in 1995 at the Commonwealth Secretariat Headquarters in London, before moving back to Kampala to start a number of business initiatives, which included setting up a management and financial consulting firm – Prime Solutions in 1999. In 2004, he was one of the founders who established aikan to help people and organizations reach their full potential.
Matthias is the Head of aikan Trains™ and aikan OD™ and remains a frontline HR practitioner having carried out a wide range of HR projects for clients in the areas of competency-based recruitment, strategic planning, performance management, talent management, organization structure reviews, job description development, climate surveys, HR policy development, executive coaching, and HR outsourcing.

Matthias is an MBA graduate of the University of Hull and holds a MSc. Human Resource Management and Development from Manchester University. He is a member of the Human Resource Managers Association of Uganda and accredited to administer psychometrics tests such as the Glowinkowski Predisposition Indicator (GPI) and the Behavioural Event Interview (BEI).
